An international realist painter, Siti’s earliest self-taught training was in portraiture back in Malaysia. She painted people’s portraits professionally for over a decade. Siti received international press on her portraits of Princess Diana, which were featured in a U.K. coffee table book, 'Diana in Art'. She was also featured in Malaysian magazines and a Malaysian TV documentary. In addition, Siti was featured in a Los Angeles local newspaper, the Daily News.
Siti left portraiture in 2008 and now focuses on painting still life and florals. Her paintings and illustrations are geared towards realism, capturing the subjects when they have already bloomed or ripened.
